2007 Urban Eye, AA.DRL_10 Pavilion Proposal (collaborated with Aurora Santana)

Urban Eye is a proposed system in which the structural perfection of hexagons is explored by using the material Fiber_C. This system gives the ability to create various hexagonal units in which different extrusion length of the cells generates various moments of density; opacity and perception. The extruded components become "look through" objects. The overall system work as a compound eye in which each user should be aware of experiencing various looks through points. These are in fact just fragments of the overall view. The various sections and lengths of the components control the perception of the individual users and also different treatment of light.
